Expected dEdX loses for protons

Hi, I tried to look at some mass production data (7.7 GeV from vHLLE+UrQMD), then I tried to use MpdPid to calculate nsigma.. However it seems that "expected energy losses" are overestimated for protons at higher momentum. The parametrization changed value for p ~ 0.4 GeV/c I'm quite sure that few months ago this parametrization was much better.
